Blanche

A top fermented beer in the style of Blanche – Wit. A Traditional medieval brew typical of Belgium and North-Eastern France.

Its hazy white character comes from suspended yeast and the wheat used in its making.

FERMENTATION METHOD: Top fermenting

INGREDIENTS: Water, malted barley, wheat, oat, hops, spices, yeast

COLOUR: Very light and hazy – EBC 6

HEAD: White, compact and long lasting

AROMA: Notes of citrus and spices from the traditional coriander and bitter orange peel

TASTE: Light and fresh, not hoppy

BITTERNESS UNITS: IBU 15

ALCOHOL: 4,5% vol

DEGREES PLATO: 12

PAIRING: Perfect as a refreshing aperitif, and alongside fresh cold cuts and cheese, fish and vegetable dishes, desserts and fruit

BEST SERVED AT: 6-8 °C

SERVING GLASS: Wide rim glass to emphasize its spicy aromas
