A blond, distinctive beer made famous in Cologne.

One of the few top fermented beers still brewed in Germany.

It’s similar to a Pilsner but less bitter and more fruity.

STYLE: Kölsch

FERMENTATION METHOD: Top fermenting

INGREDIENTS: Water, malted barley, hops, yeast

COLOUR: Light blond – EBC 10

HEAD: White and dens

AROMA: Herbaceous and floral, with subtle notes of black locust honey

TASTE: Dry, fresh, delicately bitter

BITTERNESS UNITS: IBU 30

ALCOHOL: 5% vol

DEGREES PLATO: 12

PAIRING: Perfect with cold cuts, cheese, white meats, pizzas and focaccia

BEST SERVED AT: 8°C

SERVING GLASS: Classic tall and narrow glass, 200 cl called Kölschglas
