Strong Bitter

A classic English Pale Ale. A traditional top-fermenting yeast yields a full bodied ale with a  fruity aroma.

The highly aromatic hops are balanced by special malted barleys. Moderate alcohol content, light head and light carbonation, best served at cellar temperatures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STYLE: English Pale Ale

FERMENTATION METHOD: Top fermenting

INGREDIENTS: Water, malted barley, hops, yeast

COLOUR: Dark amber – EBC 30

HEAD: Small

AROMA: Fruity with a strong malt aroma. Notes of coffee, licorice and caramel

TASTE: Dry, fresh, well balanced malt aromas and bitterness from the English hops. Perfect full body

BITTERNESS UNITS: IBU 40

ALCOHOL: 6% vol

DEGREES PLATO: 14

PAIRING: Aged cheese, grilled red meat, chocolate desserts

BEST SERVED AT: 10 °C

SERVING GLASS: Pint glass, with a bulge below the rim to neutralize the head and accentuate the dense beer
